Yenzani Children's Home is urgently appealing for sponsorship for 4 children to attend special needs schools in 2016.
At Yenzani, we try to meet every child's particular needs. Due to early childhood trauma and a range of conditions including brain injuries, epilepsy, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and attention deficit disorder (ADD), we have four children who are unable to cope in mainstream schools. They experience bullying and a general lack of understanding around their specific needs.
Government remedial schools are scarce and overcrowded so we are urgently seeking sponsorship to send them to a special needs school where they will be able to flourish next year.
We have seen time and again that our children thrive at these schools - their self-esteem improves and they perform better almost immediately. Their chances of a better future also increase exponentially.
While we have managed to secure discounted rates at these schools, the cost of fees and transport are still more than we can manage on our own, which is why we're asking for your help, <<First Name>>.
